Keith started playing guitar when he was 7 and went on to study guitar in the former well known Wright Music Centre in Cork where he passed exams and gained musical maturity.......

Whilst providing blistering guitar solos and the funkiest rhythm guitar for acts such as

Bog The Donkey and The Kieran Kramer Band, Keith realised that it was time to do it for himself so he formed The Boogie Band in 2005 so he could take out his frustrations on unsuspecting musicians.He was branded THE CRANK by his own band mates as they maintain no matter what happens keith will be cranky even tough hes a really nice guy under it all "THE PRESSURES OF RUNNING A BAND I SUPPOSE",When on stage keith delivers a guitar sound thats second to none and vocals to support Paul incredible range,

Paul

Paul is a very accomplished and expierenced singer who has been with

The Boogie Band right from day one.

Paul had intended fame and fortune - being a member of “Mankind” who were managed by Louis Walsh, touring with Westlife, appearing on RTE TV shows and recording with some top artists - but like many an emerging talent, didn’t read the small print in The Boogie Band contract and is now entertaining audiences all over munster with his brilliant stage presence and highly versatile vocal skills, singing songs by a huge range of artists such as

Al Green, AC/DC, Tom Jones, Journey, Stevie Wonder, Sugababes, Kings of Leon, The Killers, Pink, etc, etc and importantly, for a classic Irish wedding celebration, he can weave his way through a medley of old time waltzes.

Duncan

Duncan spent some years as a bass guitarist in Bristol where he worked with the likes of Kasabien and Portishead

Having a big love for his Jack Russell "BO",he also spends a lot of his lesurely time on the Xbox and Playstation HOURS INFACT,when he plays on a number of occasions musicians around cork have commented on how good he is,many say he should be on a bigger stage but this humble and gifted guy enjoys getting home to watch Match of Day,according to Keith if Carlsberg did bass players Dunk would probably the best bass player in the world.

Eoghan

What can we say about The Artist,to those who know him a musical genius,the most senior in age of the band started playing the piano at a very young age.He has played with some of the best and most well-known bands on the Irish scene such as Kieran Kramer,The Soulmasters and Arkadia.He took a break from music in 2005 and joined the monks because he felt the urge to become a pioneer and celebate,after 4 years leaving his hair grow and not playing keys,the lads in The Boogie rescued him from his monastry as they needed someone that would bring humour blistering keyboard solos and massive sounds to the band,however because he has 4 years of prayer under his belt he has the band deep in prayer every night before they perform,.Now he spends his days writting musicals and keeping the boogies entertained on and off the stage

Gary

Gary is well known to those on the cork as one of the best drummers on the scene for the past number of years.He started with the band in 2005 when the band was formed with fellow members keith,paul and duncan,he stayed for 4 good years where he helped to make the band one the most sought after wedding and party bands in the munster area,he left in 2009 for a change in career where he chanced his arm at male modeling,however that didnt work out for him and we are glad to say he returned to the band in may 2010,He has been an integral part of the rhythm section along with his partner in crime duncan for many years,During his days off he continues  his drum workshops/session/studio work and playing with many top artists on the irish scene,He is back where he belongs now with the boogies where he continues to torment duncan (in a nice funny way) and all you gary fans can see him on the kit at a venue near you very soon
